Research Privacy Notice

This research is conducted by CYBERPINKY PTE. LTD. , a company incorporated in Singapore that operates CyberPinky (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Privacy and Data Use

What information is collected

We collect the answers you choose to provide, which may include your age range, work or study status, relationship status, spending ranges, entertainment preferences, AI usage, and personal experiences. Some responses may reveal sensitive information.
The questionnaire does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or account credentials. Please do not include information that identifies you or someone else in written responses.
This survey is hosted on SurveyMars. The platform may automatically collect technical information, including IP addresses, location information, browser and device details, cookies, referral sources, and usage information. It may also make survey-related metadata available to us, such as IP addresses, submission times, completion times, and referral sources. This survey should therefore not be considered completely anonymous.

How we use information

We use survey responses to understand player behavior and preferences, analyze research findings, and inform game development. We use relevant submission metadata to administer the survey and assess response quality, including identifying duplicate or invalid submissions.
We do not use your survey responses for targeted advertising, direct marketing, or training AI models. We do not sell your responses or share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who can access the information and where it is processed

Access is limited to authorized personnel who need the information for this research and service providers supporting its collection, storage, or analysis. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
SurveyMars processes survey data on our behalf. Its published privacy notice identifies U.S. hosting for survey data. As our company is based in Singapore, information may also be accessed or processed in Singapore for this research. We will apply safeguards required by applicable law when personal information is transferred internationally.

How long we retain information

We retain individual responses and associated submission metadata under our control only as long as needed for this research, for no longer than 12 months after the survey closes, unless a longer period is required by law. We then delete or permanently anonymize them. This schedule also applies to research copies we export.
Aggregated findings that do not identify participants may be retained for future development planning. SurveyMars’s own operational logs and backup deletion processes are subject to its policies and applicable service terms.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may contact us to ask about this research or request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your response, or to withdraw consent to further use where applicable. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.
Because we do not ask for your name or contact details, we may be unable to locate a particular response. If available, a response reference or submission confirmation may help us find it. Once information has been permanently anonymized, we cannot associate it with you or remove it from anonymous findings.
California residents may have additional rights under applicable law, including rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Participation Is Voluntary

You may skip any research question you do not wish to answer or stop completing the survey at any time before submitting.
Providing an email address is optional. You can submit feedback without signing up for future research, and your answers will not affect your access to our games or services.

Information We Collect

Survey responses. We collect the information you choose to provide, including character selections, ratings, written feedback, character preferences, experience with otome games or AI companion products, and age group.
We do not ask for your name. Please avoid including information that identifies you or another person in written responses.
Optional research sign-up. If you provide your email address and agree to receive research invitations, we collect your email and a record of your consent. Your email will be linked to your survey responses to help us identify suitable participants for future playtests or player research.
Technical information. This survey is hosted on SurveyMars. The platform may collect technical information such as IP addresses, location information, browser and device details, cookies, referral sources, and usage information. It may make submission metadata available to us, including IP addresses, submission times, completion times, and referral sources.
The survey should therefore not be considered completely anonymous, even if you do not provide an email address.

How We Use Information

We use your survey responses to:
  • Understand reactions to character appearance, distinctiveness, personality concepts, and overall appeal.
  • Compare preferences across participant groups and inform character design and game development.
  • Analyze feedback and prepare internal research findings.
We use relevant submission metadata to administer the survey and assess response quality, including identifying duplicate or invalid submissions.
If you separately sign up for future research, we also use your email and linked responses to select potential participants and send invitations to CyberPinky playtests or player research. Signing up does not guarantee an invitation or require you to participate.
We do not use your email for advertising or newsletters. We do not sell survey information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your responses to train AI models.
We do not publicly disclose individual survey responses or research contact details.

Who Can Access Information

Access is limited to authorized personnel who need the information for research, development planning, or research recruitment, and service providers supporting these activities.
SurveyMars provides survey collection, storage, and analysis services on our behalf. Other service providers, such as email delivery providers, may process information as needed to support research invitations.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
We use appropriate access controls and other safeguards to protect information under our control.

International Processing and SurveyMars

Our company is based in Singapore, and information may be accessed or processed there for the purposes described in this notice.
SurveyMars’s published privacy notice describes U.S. hosting for survey data. Its technical data collection, operational logs, cookies, and related processing are described in the SurveyMars Privacy Notice.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we will apply safeguards required by applicable law.

How Long We Keep Information

Survey responses and submission metadata. We retain these only as long as needed for this research, for up to 12 months after the survey closes, unless a longer period is required by law. We then delete or permanently anonymize them. This schedule also applies to research copies we export.
Aggregated findings that do not identify participants may be retained for future development planning.
Research contact list. If you sign up, we retain your email, consent record, and link to your survey responses for up to 12 months after sign-up, or until you withdraw from the research contact list, whichever comes first. We then delete your recruitment details and remove the link between your email and survey responses.
We may retain a minimal record of your opt-out where necessary to prevent further invitations or meet legal requirements. That record will not be used to recruit you.
The link between your email and your answers will also be removed if the underlying survey responses are deleted or permanently anonymized earlier.
SurveyMars’s own operational logs and backup deletion processes are subject to its policies and applicable service terms.

Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Contact [email protected], with the subject line “Character Survey Privacy,” to:
  • Stop receiving research invitations.
  • Request deletion of your email and its link to your survey responses.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your response.
  • Ask questions or raise concerns about how your information is handled.
Unsubscribing stops future invitations; it does not automatically delete your survey responses. You may request deletion of identifiable responses separately.
If you did not provide an email, we may be unable to locate your response. A submission reference, if available, may help. We may request limited information necessary to verify and fulfill a request.
Once information has been permanently anonymized, we cannot associate it with you or remove it from anonymous findings.
We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law. California residents may have additional rights under applicable law, including rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Age Eligibility for Research Sign-Up

The optional research contact list is open only to participants aged 18 or older.
If we learn that someone under 18 has joined the contact list, we will remove their recruitment details and the link between their email and survey responses.
Age eligibility for the character design survey is communicated separately in the survey or by event staff.

Your Consent

By voluntarily submitting survey answers, you consent to our handling of the information you provide for the research purposes described in this notice.
Consent to receive future research invitations is separate and is given through the optional sign-up checkbox. It is not required to submit the survey.
Nothing in this notice waives your rights under applicable law.

Changes to This Notice

If our research information practices change, we will update this notice and its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before using previously collected information for a new purpose.

ご参加は任意です

本アンケートへの参加は任意です。回答したくない調査項目は回答せずに進むことができ、送信前であれば、いつでも回答を中止できます。
メールアドレスの登録も任意です。今後の調査への参加案内を希望しなくても、アンケートに回答・送信できます。また、回答内容によって、当社のゲームやサービスのご利用に影響が生じることはありません。

取得する情報

アンケートへの回答
ご自身の意思で回答いただいた情報を取得します。これには、キャラクターの選択・評価、自由記述のご意見、キャラクターの好み、乙女ゲームやAIコンパニオン・AIキャラクターチャットの利用経験、年齢層などが含まれます。
氏名の入力は求めません。自由記述欄には、ご自身や第三者を特定できる情報を記載しないようお願いいたします。
今後の調査に関する任意の参加登録
メールアドレスを入力し、参加案内の受信に同意された場合、当社はメールアドレスおよび同意の記録を取得します。
メールアドレスはアンケートの回答と紐づけて管理します。今後のプレイテストやプレイヤー調査の対象条件に合う方へご案内するため、回答内容を参照する場合があります。
技術情報
本アンケートにはSurveyMarsを使用しています。同サービスは、IPアドレス、位置情報、ブラウザ・端末情報、Cookie、アクセス元、利用状況などの技術情報を取得する場合があります。
また、IPアドレス、回答の送信日時、回答にかかった時間、アクセス元などの回答関連情報が、当社に提供される場合があります。
そのため、メールアドレスを登録しない場合でも、本アンケートは完全な匿名ではありません。

情報の利用目的

当社は、アンケートの回答を次の目的で利用します。
  • キャラクターの外見、デザインの独自性、性格・設定、総合的な魅力に対する反応を把握するため
  • 回答者の属性や経験による好みの違いを分析し、キャラクターデザインやゲーム開発の参考にするため
  • ご意見を集計・分析し、社内の調査資料を作成するため
回答関連の技術情報は、アンケートの運営や、重複回答・無効な回答の確認など、回答の品質を確認する目的で利用します。
今後の調査に関する参加登録をされた場合は、メールアドレスと紐づく回答を、プレイテストやプレイヤー調査への参加候補者の選定およびご案内にも利用します。
登録によってご案内が保証されるものではなく、ご案内を受け取っても参加する義務はありません。
ご登録いただいたメールアドレスを、広告やメールマガジンの配信に利用することはありません。アンケートを通じて取得した情報を販売したり、複数のサービスをまたいだ行動に基づく広告配信のために共有したりすることもありません。また、回答をAIモデルの学習に利用することはありません。
個別の回答や、調査参加登録で取得した連絡先を一般に公開することはありません。

情報にアクセスできる者

情報へのアクセスは、調査、開発方針の検討、調査参加者の募集に必要な権限を持つ担当者、およびこれらの業務を支援するサービス提供者に限定します。
SurveyMarsは、当社のためにアンケート情報の収集・保存・分析に関するサービスを提供します。また、参加案内の送信などに必要な範囲で、メール配信サービス等の提供者が情報を取り扱う場合があります。
法令により求められる場合には、必要な情報を開示することがあります。
当社が管理する情報については、アクセス制御など、適切な安全管理措置を講じます。

国外での情報の取扱いとSurveyMars

当社はシンガポールに所在しており、本通知に記載した目的のために、情報がシンガポールで閲覧・処理される場合があります。
SurveyMarsの公開プライバシー通知には、アンケートデータの米国での保存について記載されています。同サービスによる技術情報、運用ログ、Cookie等の取扱いについては、SurveyMarsのプライバシー通知（英語）をご確認ください。
個人情報を国外に移転する場合、当社は適用される法令に従い、必要な保護措置を講じます。

保存期間

アンケートの回答および回答関連情報
当社が管理する個別の回答および回答関連情報は、本調査に必要な期間に限り、原則としてアンケート終了後最長12か月間保存します。ただし、法令によりそれを超える保存が必要な場合を除きます。
保存期間の終了後は、削除するか、個人を特定できず、元に戻すことのできない形に匿名化します。この保存方針は、当社が出力・保存した調査用のデータにも適用します。
個人を特定できない集計結果は、今後の開発の参考として引き続き保存する場合があります。
今後の調査に関する参加登録情報
登録されたメールアドレス、同意の記録、および回答との紐づけは、登録後最長12か月間、または登録の解除を申し出られるまでの、いずれか短い期間保存します。その後、参加案内のための登録情報を削除し、メールアドレスと回答との紐づけを解除します。
配信停止後の誤送信を防ぐため、または法令上必要な場合には、配信停止に関する最小限の記録を保持することがあります。この記録を参加案内の送信に利用することはありません。
アンケートの回答を先に削除または匿名化した場合、その時点でメールアドレスとの紐づけも解除します。
SurveyMars独自の運用ログの保存やバックアップの削除については、同サービスの方針および適用される利用条件に従います。

配信停止および個人情報に関するご依頼

次のご依頼やお問い合わせは、[email protected] まで、件名を 「キャラクターデザイン調査：個人情報について」 としてご連絡ください。
  • 今後の調査・プレイテストの参加案内の配信停止
  • メールアドレスの削除および回答との紐づけの解除
  • ご自身の回答に関連する個人情報の開示、訂正、削除、利用停止等
  • 情報の取扱いに関するご質問やご相談
参加案内の配信停止だけでは、アンケートの回答は自動的に削除されません。ご自身のものとして特定できる回答については、別途削除を依頼できます。
メールアドレスを登録していない場合、該当する回答を特定できないことがあります。回答番号などの情報をお持ちの場合は、特定の手がかりとなる場合があります。また、ご依頼への対応に必要な範囲で、本人確認等のための情報をお願いする場合があります。
情報が個人を特定できない形に匿名化された後は、ご本人の回答として特定したり、匿名の集計結果から取り除いたりすることはできません。
当社は、適用される法令に従ってご依頼に対応します。法令に基づく権利を行使されたことを理由に、不利益な取扱いをすることはありません。

今後の調査への参加登録の対象年齢

今後のプレイテストやプレイヤー調査に関する参加案内の登録は、18歳以上の方を対象としています。
18歳未満の方が登録されたことが判明した場合、参加案内のための登録情報を削除し、メールアドレスと回答との紐づけを解除します。
キャラクターデザインアンケート自体の参加対象年齢については、アンケート画面または会場スタッフが別途ご案内します。

同意について

アンケートの回答を任意に送信することにより、ご提供いただいた情報を、本通知に記載した調査目的のために当社が取得・利用・開示することに同意いただくものとします。
今後の調査に関する参加案内の受信への同意は、任意の登録欄のチェックボックスで別途確認します。この同意は、アンケートの回答・送信の条件ではありません。
本通知への同意によって、法令に基づく権利を放棄することにはなりません。

本通知の変更

情報の取扱いに変更がある場合、本通知および適用開始日を更新します。
既に取得した情報を新たな目的で利用する場合には、適用される法令に従い、必要な追加の通知や同意の取得を行います。
